This includes the bar and features some beautiful saltwater aquariums and fun creatures hanging from the ceiling. Moving into the restaurant area, the theming continues with a Coral Reef section. He lets of a pretty intimidating roar every so often as well. Our children thought it was pretty entertaining, but the roar is very loud and it did seem to frighten some of the little kids nearby. There is a large animatronic T-Rex in the giftshop and plenty of planetary décor on the ceiling. Paying homage to my childhood, I’ve loving nicknamed this dino Sharptooth (from The Land Before Time). It was a great spot for the kids to play while we were waiting for our table. There is also an excavation area just off of the gift shop.

The podium to the left is where you can check in for reservations (reservations are highly recommended) and the cave entrance opens up to a large gift shop where you can browse while waiting to be seated. Setting the scene for dining with dinosaurs is no easy task, but they definitely nailed it with this décor. What was on the menu? Read on to find out! On a recent trip to Disney Springs, we were feeling slightly carnivorous and decided to stop in T-REX for a bite to eat.

That being said, dining there is sometimes inevitable since it’s home to the kid’s “must-do” Lego store. Disney Springs is usually the last place on my list when I think about dining out at Disney. But, that’s not to say that there aren’t fabulous dining options there! I’m not a big shopper and there are great restaurants all over Disney property, so I prefer dining in the parks or at a resort compared to wading through the crowds just to dine at Disney Springs.
